Hello. Recently me and Orange have had an argument about how the forum should look. You all know how it looked before, and look at how it is now, with the new homepage. I believe it looks more organized and professional now, without everything else in the way, so all of you decide. What do you think looks better? Before or After?

If you were serious about a server you won't close this down, lol... We are too close to start over. Do you want to just throw everything away and start over?

I'm going to be serious here:
I think this layout looks more professional but however it isn't easy to find your way around it, as there is a lack of shortcuts

What do you mean "isn't easy to find your way around it"? What is there to find that is hard? Click "Home" for the homepage, with news bulletins, and the shoutbox. Click "Forum" for the forum.

Forum + shoutbox and it should be ok... Too lazy to swith to home every time i wanna shout...

Go to Admin, Simpleportal,block,block list, Move the shoutbox up if not already done, put it above something not as important like 'whos online'. Modify it, And find the option 'Show block on....' and either put forums or 'everywhere'

You have to make a block for the shoutbox. Can be done under the shoutbox options and it will give you an option to make a block, play with the settings i said earlier.. Then bam.. After a few setting changes it should view. If it still doesn't work the layout your using 'xmas' May just not support that specific action. The layout named 'Scratch' does.

Sorry I was inactive for a few days and couldn't help with this. Had a little "Incident" with my sister. Anyways I set it so the blocks that are on the homepage won't show up on the forums due to their sizing, and to make it more organized, but he managed to get the shoutbox up to the top of the forums.
